East Kent Coaching was, until recently, the event organiser for the Thanet Primary Schools' Cross Country races. These were races for boys and girls in Key Stage 2,
held in the beautiful surroundings of Quex Park, Birchington. Although the races have not been held during the current academic year, we hope to bring them back in the future in a modified form. Watch this space.

We also hold training sessions during school holidays throughout the year for primary school children. For the 2024 Summer Holiday, we are inviting anyone who is going into Years 4 to 6 in September.
We will have a morning group on Tuesdays in Ramsgate (at King George VI Memorial Park) and Fridays in Margate (Hartsdown Park).
Our sessions are ideal for children looking to become more confident competitive runners, as well as those who just want to burn off some holiday energy in the fresh air.

From 10th July 2024, primary school pupils will be able to join our Wednesday evening track sessions.
These will be at the Royal Harbour Academy's all-weather running track in Ramsgate.
Initially we are inviting those children who have previously attended school holidays sessions. (We need to be sure that they are attentive, competent runners before allowing them onto the track.)
